Hello, I've just found this nice looking CMS and the first impression was awesome. Well I'm currently using Wordpress with some Podlove PlugIns to upload and show my Podcasts, but I actually don't like to use Wordpress for 'this' Wordpress is so huge and complex and I'm just writing a couple of lines now and then and record some podcasts etc. so all I want is an open blogging CMS that's easy to use and where I can easily manage my Podcasts (upload them and the CMS should read out the Tags and so on and show a player on the Homepage (!), I hate it to do this extra click to get to the blog post and there is the player... meh. And yea, customizing a wordpress theme with the editor isn't "the yellow from the egg" as we'd say here in germany, because it often resets to the initial state after an update etc. and I'm not interested in learning how to do an own theme in Wordpress, just for this only purpose. That's why I'm searching something more simple.
Bolt seems quite right. Open, has a great looking flexcards-theme and afaik I can easily add some JS/CSS/HTML to customize it for my needs.
So yes, I've some experiences in CSS/JS/HTML and I'm currently working as a web designer for a company, so I totally want to customize some things, I just don't want to learn a whole new technology to change colors etc. like I'd need in Wordpress.
Well, sorry for my quite bad english (I need to speak to english natives more often...) and I hope that you can help me and maybe tell me how to set everything up to do some podcasting with bolt... or point me to the right direction, I'm willing to learn 🙂!
Thanks in advance!
